My first Marathon experience?

My first Marathon experience... I feel I should write "By Blayne Scott!" in crayon somewhere. Anyhow:

I can't remember where my father got the old Marathon 4L demo from, but I remember out utter confusion at why we couldn't get the player onscreen to *move* on his a Macintosh LC 475.

It was I, at the age of 9 that showed my father that you use the number pad to make the guy move. We were down with the space-bar to shoot that alien, but mastering the "8" key allowed me to move forward and read that glowing terminal. I later remember getting scared by a S'pht, and finding a Bob hidden in a wall on Arrival...

The rest of my life is sortof a blur from that point onward. Now I’m 20, with countless Marathon related logos on clothing, and 30+ levels for a scenario sitting on my Powermac.

Wow, how time flies. 


on a side note, I *swore* the Bobs in the M2 preview demo wearing purple were infact female. They would all die or teleported out too fast to tell for sure. Ah, yes... memories of my misguided youth.
