: The bigger question to me is that if we do add an O2 canister half-way
: through, should we still have an extra at the end? Played on Deathwish,
: the player should enter the airlock with just about a half-full O2 supply,
: which is more than adequate to pick up all the ammo, read the terminals
: and explore the last room. I vote for no extra O2 canister at the end.
It's been mentioned many times before that playing on DeathWish is not supposed to be easy. I agree. However, let's also remember that a Marathon scenario should be FUN for the player. Reaching the end of this long set of four levels, desperately running out of oxygen, trying to fight off enemies, collect ammo, searching for oxygen, trying to save the game, read terminals, or whatever else... and then to be hit at the end with a cruel joke of a fake oxygen recharger is bordering on NOT fun to me. I agree with Steve and let's have another one at the end.
