: I'd just like to remind everyone that DW is not supposed to be easy :P

: Place an oxygen canister inside the airlock leading to the safe area. A
: single canister should provide more than enough oxygen to explore the room
: and read the terminal at a comfortable speed even on DW.

Mark, I understand what you are saying. But remember, you've just been through 3 fast-paced levels, so that when you arrive at the final G3 level, your O2 level is nearly depleted (on DW). I'm just raising the question as to whether it's fair or not to make the player work even more for that precious O2 canister. They will still have to deal with the enemies and go through the airlock. I firmly believe in rewarding a player for doing something good. Getting through those first 3 levels in G3 is definitely doing something good (especially on DW). They should be rewarded when reaching the last of those levels.

Also, based on your comment above as to locating the O2 canister in the airlock, when making the choice for that location, was any thought given to those two ammo caches in the east and west part of the level? We need to make sure the player is able to get those.

Look, everyone please understand, I am not trying to make things easy for anyone. I am just throwing out thoughts as they come to me. I will work with whatever we all decide.

: Change texture on recharger to proper 1x health charger texture. There's no
: more oxygen crisis because of the canister, so the other thing you'll be
: needing is shields. (Of course, this recharger is now redundant because
: there's no danger between here and the rechargers on the next level).

Just to make sure I understand correctly, you will be making the fake O2 recharger into a functioning 1x shield recharger? If so, that's good. I wouldn't exactly say that there is no danger on the next level until the rechargers. Those are in the northern part of the next level, and you have several nasty situations to get through on DW before arriving at them.
