I think this crew could be different. Remember, Chris Mullens got his job with Bungie from his fan art for M1. You could try sending them a link to your portfolio, but you might want to try something more inventive. If you can afford it, why don't you print one of your best scenes - perhaps the detail of Reprisal, on a T-shirt, print up 7 of them and send them in a box to Wideload. Include a cover letter in the box with a link to your portfolio or perhaps even some prints of your portfolio and of course the phrase, "There's plenty more where this came from". At the very least, you'll evoke some nostalgia, but I think that they'll want to know more about the man that did such impressive work. If the T-shirts are too expensive for you, then go to a digital printing place and have them make a large poster for you. Be sure to frame it - a large box will get their attention.
Oh, if you do print up the T-shirts, please let us know - some of us may be interested in buying one for ourselves.
