Yes, as a T-Shirt whore I would love to have something like this, especially if it had a witty saying that'd cause even strangers to chortle with hearty laughter. Posters too, I'll buy that stuff up.
I think Steve's got a good point here, your admiration of the games these gentlemen helped to produce and make would put you at an advantage I think, and it's the quality of your work that puts you above every other Bungie fanboy sketchmonkey that thinks he's got the skillz Wideload is looking for.
As for the climate, Bungie to me has always seemed to be very receptive, especially to their fans. I think if you (Anaphiel) submitted some work and asked for honest feedback on it you'd probably get it, especially if you asked and worked it out beforehand. (Especially if it was in the form of free stuff, a la Steve's suggestion) We're all familiar with the history, but these guys were used to exactly what you described; being rejected, ignored, sneered at; man it's like an after school special on ABC. These guys know that some of the best hands yet to enter the business are among the thousands scraping at the outside walls...
I say give it a shot. Give it a shot and see what happens, let us know.
Speaking of posters, I've heard some wild speculation about a possible Rubicon end screen poster? Hit us with the details, Steve.
