Now, this might be wild speculation, but:

Sounds alot like Leela's history.

Line 1 and 2 feel like M1, line 3 the Pfhor's disassembly (humbled by the enemy, died), and the rest, outburst, the Vylae network rampancy.

Yeah, pretty shakey I know knowing the whole 'thon =! Halo, but if this is a fanfic of sorts... *shrugs*
