Yes, I doubt I could have done it without taking advantage of the monster limit. Especially since I didn't know about the switch across the pool and therefore expected to have to spend the entire 3x charge in the blood run (many times) to finish.
I believe in A1 the monster limit can be raised, but I'm not going to try it :P

We keep finding more places where I'm not used to taking the Omega or Mace (and the new maneuverability those weapons allow) into account. Unfortunately, this is the end of that too as we're about to lose all these weapons for good.
