Marathon is an experience that I don't believe has ever been succesfully replicated in anything outside the Marathon engine or universe (so things excluded from that very, very big range are some of the 3rd party scenarios for Marathon and the UT conversions for Marathon, being Rampancy and Ressurection). Although you all know that, of course =). Halo comes close in many areas, though, but it still isn't Marathon. I need my own pair of Jjaro boxers so I can find a timeline where Bungie made Marathon 4 =) What a happy timeline that would be....Oh, and Apple would buy Microsoft, Bill Gates would be a shoe shine boy (that's what he's best at anyway), racism, sexism, and other such things would end (although people exaggerate alot about sexism, in my opinion), and K-Chi wouldn't have put a cracked Marathon 2 disc into a computer which wasn't hers =P. Timelines kick ass, people. Maybe I could find a timeline where I had a girlfriend...Oh, wait, I already do =P. As Yoss would say: 5 yard penalty, overuse of "=P" and "=)". | |
