When there are terminals that significantly advance the story, I try to spend some time discussing them, but Steve seems to be better at that sort of thing than I am (just look at some of the Rubicon posts...) Also, there aren't all that many critical story terminals, as most of them just move you through the level. The third part of the scenario is where the really interesting stuff is.
Yes, RED is tied into the original Marathon story. We're not done with the scenario yet ;)
