: It took me a while to get through these linked levels, but then that's
: perhaps obvious. At least reaching the conclusion alive is more a matter
: of running straight and fast than picking the right path out from among
: many. Moving so quickly, though, I didn't really get to take in the sights
: beyond a general sense of relief at getting away from the
: "tainted" interiors.
I agree with you, Keith. Although the series is challenging, it's more of a relief than a challenge to finish it. I think that it would have been significantly better had there been a few secret O2 canisters scattered throughout to reward the player for using ingenuity rather than just running flat out. Yes, I know that that's what Ian wanted you to do, but there is just no time to enjoy his handiwork other than through seeing it over and over and over and over again.
: The final room, for all that there really isn't time to take it in, did set
: off a few suspicions with me. Ian had seemed in bad shape the last time I
: saw him, and now he's back to normal except for the fact that he shows no
: picture in the conversation terminal...
I take it you weren't playing on Deathwish, or you wouldn't have had time to notice this, but it's a very good point.
