Something is very weird then. I have been playing the standard Marathon RED using a PowerMac with OS9.1. On these levels, I do NOT have any weapons at my disposal except for the Pulse Rifle. It does not matter whether I am playing on Easy or Death Wish. Except for Fists, I only have the Pulse Rifle available.
