At first I thought I had missed it because I wasn't checking my inventory during the final fight, but upon double-checking in Forge, there is no sign of a repair chip on that level and the switch to open the door, while it uses the chip slot graphic, is just a tag switch and works when tabbed. If you can see the chip in your version, then I really don't know what's going on here, I can't find any reference to multiple versions of RED in the various news and scenario archives.
