The Vylae. We know that their multiple-world network became dominated by Leela and could never be "expunged". I think they had something like 15 worlds?
We never learn much about them, except they traded with the Nar for a period after at least M1. The implications of this could be considerable: were these races that the Pfhor couldn't or wouldn't enslave, and why not? Were the Vylae human colonists or aliens? I think anybody making an EV Nova conversion with Marathon could do a lot with the Vylae...
