: Good luck with your marathoning Krpy. First off, Welcome to Marathon Krpy! New blood! We are all hopeless Marathon junkies here. Escape while you still have the will power. I would advise you NOT to use the spoiler guide as it will totally wreck your experience if over used, and it is easy to over use just by letting your eyes wander or seeing something you didn't want to see just yet while looking up another problem. We will be more than happy to help you through Marathon with just the exact hints you need without giving it away and spoiling it for you. We need your help though. You need to tell us the name or the number of the level you are playing in. You can find this information by pressing your automap key, the name of the level is displayed at the top of the window. It sounds like you are in "Never Burn Money". You have found two circuit chips in little cubby holes with little doors that open. You need to find another chip but you don't know where to look. There are lots of aggravating flying wasp things shooting brown goop at you. They make terrible pets, kill them all first thing. The 3rd chip you are looking for is to the left of where you first started the level as you exit that room. You have to explore to find it. To help you explore, you should learn a few Marathon basics. Most importantly, use your automap. The automap will indicate were you have NOT explored by the lack of a solid light green line defining it's boundary. This means you have not looked at that boundary wall indicating you most likely have not been there before. Many times just a tiny gap in that green line is actually an opening into a large new area to explore. You will find your circuit chip if you use this technique. Also, a good technique to use in exploring is to first clear the monsters out of a room and then walk around the room facing the walls while pressing your action key. You will find secret doors leading to guns and ammo, health, shields, powerups and alternate routes. You can jump up onto low ledges by knocking yourself up with grenades or rockets. Turn your back to the ledge, run backwards towards it and fire the weapon. The recoil will lift you up. You can do this by running forward and getting higher lift but you will take damage. Make sure you have the shields for it. There are lots more tips. We love to share. Good luck! Keep checking back and let us know how you are doing. Gary Simmons
