Perhaps the closest modern day equivalent to the KKV-7 would be the H&K MP5SD. It is a 9mm submachine gun with an integrated suppresser (i.e. the actual barrel is the suppresser, as apposed to an exterior suppresser, which the operator must manually fix onto the barrel.) An excellent article on the MP5SD can be found in the links below, as well as some vids of it being fired. Read the article and watch the vids (I highly sugest you do) and make your own judgment on the KKV-7.
