I made a post on the Unity forums about how to do 5D space with Unity.

The code is easy to understand, the hard part is making the map.

Export a map with Weland or Forge Plus.

Edit the map with Blender or Pro Builder.

Import the map and use the script and shaders from the Unity forum post.

The stencil buffer portals separate the 5D space visually and layers separate colliders.
5D space is when geometry overlaps.
Separate normal space and 5D space.
Portals render sectors and when the player enters a portal the sector is rendered normally.
Portals turn on or off when entering a portal.
Multiple portals can be put in one spot when other portals are off.
