Beta 3 outstanding issues

The issues described in this post

http://forums.bungie.org/story/?read=63894

are still present in Beta 3.

The both appear to be related to polygons surrounded by damage inflicting polygons. There are other levels which have areas surrounded by damage inflicting polygons, for example the large lava room leading to the secret terminal on Welcome to the Revolution. No problems there but these raised areas are divided into 3 polygons each.

Can someone please test and confirm (or not) my observations. Thanks.
