Pathways? Completely anti-boss ending no doubt.

M1? M2? Moo? Halo? Gauntlets yes bosses no.

Halo2? Where you had to kick the guy out of his chair was awful. But once you got it down it was easy to repeat.

Myth? Myth2? The boss battles were kind of cute, really. (Let's play who's got the head with Soulblighter!) The real hard grinder levels were where you started with a decent force and had to survive wave after wave of bad guys. I consider Myth TFL: Across the Gjol to be high art in that respect.

Yeah, boss-type conflicts seem to be implied in documentation, cut scenes, etc. but you rarely have to fight them.
