In Response To: Bungie and the Big Boss (Godot) I always thought of Bungie games as not needing boss fights, at least not in the one-enemy-with-a-lot-of-hit-points sense. Although Infinity had 'You Think You're Big Time...?', that was pretty much a boss level. Halo 2 had Tartarus, which I thought was a pretty fun ending. But boss fights are definitely a formula, and Bungie tends to step outside of those when it wants. I associate bosses with arcadey Nintendo games where you repeat the same moves over and over until you win. Kind of boring, really. : Nope... not another Bruce Lee movie. : And definitely not another attempt by Bill Gates to get Bungie to continue
: No, this is the time honored first person shooter formula of the Big Boss.
: So where are the Big Bosses in Bungie's earlier games like Marathon and
: Bungie doesn't do Big Bosses or do they? : Cheers
