Right here, attached to one of the last Halo Weekly Updates (though the text of the update doesn't really talk about the shot).
Other threads spawned by the shot:
* Picture of Cortana?, by vein13, in which some amusing arguments took place over whether or not it was actually Cortana.
* New screenshot observations/question, by Darkman, overanalysing the shot in classic Bungie.org tradition.
* The Cortana Picture Analysis, by Charles D. Clifford, who we can only hope eventually learned how to use paragraphs.
Read or don't.
Kind of random: Deep Thoughts... reminds me how disappointing it was that Cortana's odd behaviour in AotCR never panned out into anything particularly sinister. I really hope H3 reveals that the data overload massively shortened Cortana's life expectancy, and as a result she's secretly come up with a drastic plan to end the war (or/and keep 117 safely out of it) before she dies.
