Hey Matt you choose really deep screen shots. In the case that you did not choose it then applause to the one who did. Okay I'm going to go into a deep analysis of the Cortana picture. First thing is that we need to realize that this is Cortana. For obvious reasons like that you can tell that you are still on the Pillar of Autumn. You’re at a point where things are not blowing up so you are obviously at the point where you get Cortana (I'll prove this later). Just look at her, she is a projection on a view screen that is made up what looks like Binary, Also she's got blue eyes. So please take for granted that this is Cortana. Also I would appreciate it if replies to this email didn't talk about this not being Cortana. Now that that issue is out of the way then I can get to some business. In this scene you get Cortana but what also happens is that Cortana tells you that the pillar of Autumn is going to be abandoned, where the landing zone is, also that they have decided to deploy to Halo. You ask why I know this. Are you breaking an NDA? To this I answer that I have just remembered what Matt has said “Unfortunately they are all 50-megabyte TIFFs and converting them into something easily downloaded over the net is turning out to be a problem. Half the fun of a Halo screenshot is the ability to zoom in and see the ridiculous level of detail involved.” He is talking about screen shots; he said that on the September 14th update. So I saw that picture so I zoomed in every where and this is what I saw. Next to Cortana’s hip is a picture of Halo with its closest planet, the current position of the Pillar of Autumn, The flight path that the escape pod will be talking and/or drop ships, and the location of the Landing zone. Then in front of Cortana’s left leg there is a picture of the Landing zone on halo it shows a portion of Halo highlighted with the words “Landing Zone” in green and the word “Hazardous” in red. To the left of that picture is a picture of the Landing Zone from a different point of view with the planet in the background. I think that covers it. I’m amazed by the level of detail they put in. If you take the picture by Cortana’s hip and you notice the position of the pillar of autumn and the position of Halo it matches up with what you see out of the window. Please mention anything else that you notice in this pic. I want this thread to stay on topic and if you don’t think this is Cortana then I’ll admit that it is the other Female AI on the ship (yes I know there is only one). To see all of this I used windows picture and fax viewer, it has a zoom in capability. My video card is a Geforce 3. So if you think my interpretation of the words in the bottom picture is incorrect then please tell me what you think they say also list what you viewed this in and what your video card is.
