Pfhorge v. Forge

In Response To: Re: Massive memory leak in Forge using Classic (Aaron Sikes)

Pfhorge markets itself as a Forge, Hex, &c. replacement, and so a lot of us walked into using Pfhorge, expecting a Forge clone + goodies. Pfhorge is not a Pfhorge clone. It is similar in some aspects, and wildly different in others.

And, if you've been mapping for a long while, those differences more or less destroy the application's usefulness to you because of how irritating they are. The first reason for the irritation is that we're creatures of habit. The second is that Forge is fairly streamlined (in my opinion) for what it does, and that Pfhorge does things in a different, less streamlined way makes it a lesser application.

This is my take on the matter.
