I'm generally against registration, but the spam is getting so bad it seems like we have the choice between registration or seeing the entire forum go oink.

*sigh*

In the meantime - do you think the spams are generated by bots or by some [insert vulgar expression of your choice here] who's having fun messing up the forum? If they're posted by bots, then you might try those messed-up letters that have already been suggested in this thread.

I suppose there's no chance of tracking the [more vulgarities here] who's messing things up for us, is there?
