: Rabbit: The amount of effort your team put into the project is commendable.
: Although, I look at your project as a cautionary tale for myself on WMaiD.

Yea, our tale of woe is quite avoidable by others if you look for the warning signs. Our biggest problem was that people lost interest and moved on. It was very tough for the core crew of three people to keep things together on such a vast project. It was almost destined to fail. Like most true fans, I don't know if I'll ever really leave Marathon. In my heart, I'd love to just go back and do it all over again, but I'm tired of running the show. I hate being a game director- I was never real good at telling people to have something on my desk by Friday or else I'd cut off a limb. So yea, poor leadership is another warning sign! In a perfect world, I'm sure we'd all find a way to get paid to make Marathon maps all day. That would be a nice life.
