: I've often pondered about this terminal as well Steve. I'm curious though -
: (since it's been some time since I played this level in M:Inf): What area
: (ship?) is this terminal found on? I presume Arther Frain was one of the
: Bobs from the Marathon that wound up at Lh'owon along with Robert Blake.
: The information on the story page about Arthur Frain (spelled
: "Frane" by Hamish?) further confuses things.
: Does Frain survive the events of Marathon:Infinity? If so, where does he go?
That section on the Story page is called Arthur Frane because, according to Greg Kirkpatrick, the inspiration for the Arthur Frain character in the terminal on "You're Wormfood, Dude" is the prologue voice over at the start of John Boorman's 1974 film Zardoz. When I found the text of the voice over it was Frane not Frain. The both sound the same so perhaps this is simply a spelling inconsistency or perhaps it is something more. Read the voice over text and ask yourself... is this familiar to you, as if it were from an old dream...
Cheers
