Why do compilers scatter into energy at death?
Posted By: Callie21VDate: 10/19/05 5:22 a.m.

The first time I killed one, I assumed it was a hologram. Because what kind of personal forcefield causes the wearer to dematerialize when it gives out?

I suppose from a game design point of view, it would be harder to make a dead compiler realistically clatter to the ground fluttering its robes, but is there an in-story justification?
