I guess I should have taken my own advice and paid more attention. I remembered a discussion here many years ago about early scenarios and thought from the discussions that Operation Tantillus and Trojan came out at around the same time. Nothing could be farther from the truth. There were many small maps out there before OT came out, and Trojan didn't come out until more than two years later, by which time people were already playing Infinity. Yup, Trojan wasn't released until June 1997. Long after OT and even after some notable M2 scenarios such as Origin of the Species. It wan't even the first total conversion - as far as I can tell, the first complete total conversion was Noah's Ark - although anyone who played it knows that there were problems with it. I'm not sure why Trojan for the Mac came out as an M1 scenario and can only guess that it was just very long in development, and I can't for the life of me understand why it was never updated to M2 for the Mac, except that the authors seemed to feel the M1 engine had certain advantages.
Oh well - it's still a great scenario.
