Well, no, because the Marathon map format is different from and not compatible with the M2 engine, and the Moo map format is different from but backwards compatible with M2 maps.

Also, the M2 Windows port map format is different from the M2 Mac map format. AlephOne can read both nowdays, but most editors can't.
