My memory is a little fuzzy here, but I remember watching one of Bungie TV’s broadcasts in which the origin of “BLAM” was reviled. Apparently, the driving in Chicago is not all that great; people were always *almost* getting into wrecks outside of Bunige’s offices. When one of their employees (I honestly can’t remember which one, Btv’s days are long gone) heard screeching tires outside the office, he would yell “BLAM!” in anticipation of the impending crash and gigantic fireball.

So yeah, I guess I’ll look for the specific broadcast I’m talking about to refresh my memory.
