Update from M:I's ending screen

After digging around some more I came across the picture for the ending screen in M:I.

There have been a few inferences about "You" taken from here, but not much supporting the cyborg theory.

"Yet I cannot help remember one enigma.
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the only mystery I have not solved.

The only element unaccounted for." - Marathon Infinity, final screen

Could this be talking about "You"? A hybrid...
It's a little obscure though. The other bit is a little clearer.

"But you were dead a thousand times. Hopeless encounters successfully won.
A man long dead. Grafted to machines your builders did not understand. You follow
the path, fitting into an infinite pattern.

Jonathan Boeddiker <Almace@aol.com> made a reference to this, but it was never really pursued. This is obviously talking about "You" and very clearly states that "You" were grafted to machines. If that isn't a cyborg, I don't know what is.

If "You" are cyborg, just how much is mechanical?

The only other bit that I thought about was that the Marathon's are extremely linear. We don't actually do anything but play the role that is given to us... could Bungie have turned us into something with a limited free-will to explain the fact we can't rebel, even if we wanted to?
