Marathon Remake 'Leela': Ocremix.org rejection

Hello all,
I submitted my remake 'Leela' to ocremix.org a WHILE back in hopes of being the first Marathon remake posted to the site. Given the pleasent reaction I got on this site I felt fairly confident I would be accepted but alas, no dice. Their reasons for rejection can be found here:

Sorry I couldn't help out with getting Marathon some recognition in the music department but apparently I'm not good enough. I submitted Flowers in Heaven also but I'm going to guess that will be rejected as well. It seems that I didn't remix the tracks enough for them. I'd like to know what people think about this... I mean, the response from the community has been very good but by no means overwhelming so I can only assume that these tracks could be better, maybe much better. I've put a lot of time in and this setback isn't going to make me stop, but it has made me stop to think. Are these tracks too amateur sounding? Have I somehow missed the entire theme of the originals completely? Have the guys over at ocremix.org correctly assessed the tune? Any constructive thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!
