I don't really know what the term comes from or what exactly it is, but singularity, that word, I've seen in a couple of places when talking about intelligence. Appearently humans are slightly below the first singularity, whereas if you believe in super intelligent AI's they're beyond that. 2nd singularity, 3rd singularity, well keep going, I don't know where it ends, if it does. However there is huge differences between each singularity. If there was a person with a mind of 2nd singularity, he'd probably look at us as we look on animals.
If we apply this to marathon AI's, and assume they evolves naturally by themselves, each change from one singularity to another are possible to bring out rampancy.
You better look up what I'm talking about, cause I'm making a lot of guesses here.
