You you don't need a Mac to use the Sack. You just download HFVExplorer to convert the files to Aleph One format. And yeah, Aleph One sucks and is buggy as heck.
You could always try finding an old Mac on eBay, either to play Marathon directly, or to copy the ROM image to run a Mac emulator. I found a Mac LC III for that purpose.
As for Win95 M2, here's my previous post on where to get it. It's not really that hard to find. It doesn't adapt well to newer Windows versions, though, so Aleph One might still be better.
