In Response To: Re: Anyone have MacAddict CD #9? (Marathon related (the Battle Cat)

: I just now installed Marathon 4L version 1.2 from my MacAddict CD #9. The
: Marathon 4L application on this CD was created March 9, 1995 and modified
: May 5 1995. I noticed no floating BOBs, dead or otherwise. Where is this
: shaft you are talking about in Blaspheme Quarantine? I'm obviously not
: familiar with the floating BOB story eh?

: Gary Simmons
: the Battle Cat

This page explains it:

http://marathon.bungie.org/story/m1demo_v0.0.html

Take the elevator up, head northwest, and look for a door to the north that leads to a sunken alcove. Drop into there, open the door, and let the Bobs go into the alcove... one or more of them will ascend to the next storey like Superman on PCP.

I don't suppose there's a way to peek at the internal physics model of an M1 demo and find out the ledge delta values?
