But let's think about it logically. What sort of weapon is the Trih Xeem? All we know is that it blows the hell outta stars, and that it does a damn good job of it too, the only side-effect being the potential unleashing of a being that will destroy the universe. But really, what is it? I think it's some sort of projectile or something, as S'bbuth says on Aye Mak Sicur,

The trih xeem plummets(yawning) towards
the sun's core(heart), and the firey prison of the W'rcacnter(doubt)

So I'm going to assume that its some sort of missile, and a damn big one at that. So what's to stop the Pfhor from digging a big tunnel at the Yucatan Peninsula and shooting the Trih Xeem down there? (besides common sense and a whole lotta heat)
