I would go with the 4 weapons you have in ZPC after you have ascended to power with your Gauntlets of Psion. The Chi punch is as useful as a shock staff for shoving punks out of the way, as useful as a SPNKR for jumping and as useful as an alien weapon for activating switches. The 3 gauntlet weapons are brilliant for their balance and function and because they make the remainder of the game a new game with new tactics and fighting styles. These include the equivalent of a pistol, shotgun and SPNKR; yet each uniquely different from their Marathon counterparts.
