Encountering the force field was actually something of a pleasantly nostalgic experience for me, but, after already struggling a little with the switches, I was slightly disappointed when the circuit that deactivates the field is right next to it.

: There are 8 switches that must be properly set to gain access into Central
: Command. Four of these are in observations rooms and are easily
: accessible. Two additional switches are visible from these rooms and can
: be targeted with the fusion pistol.

It took me quite a while this time around to think about looking out from the observation rooms for the switches; not being brilliantly lit, they can be easy to miss. After I had found them, though, I actually didn't have too much trouble with the final few switches. Running into the turrets was another experience "strangely familiar, as if from an old dream," but a rougher one this time around...
