The hack is just one person or groups attempt at deciphering the various values used throughout the game. With more time, I'm sure more cheats will become available. If you can turn off or re-texture the MC's arms, and toggle off or use empty graphics for the HUD, you now have a perfect full-screen view. Now figure out how to move the MC, coordinate-wise, and remove the MC from the physics part of the engine, and you have a perfect free-moving camera. I know, it sounds crazy, but just a few months ago, folks were swearing any kind of hacking would be impossible. Never underestimate the power of an obsessed fan (xbox or halo, take yer pick :) Personally, I would love it if we could finally have something like server/observer mode in Halo LAN battles. There were some matches in the Regionals that were PERFECT for this kind of treatment. | |
