I'm sad that you're getting grief over the "Cortana" letter; and
sincerely hope that people get their act together quickly and
stop shooting the messenger 8*P

The person actually sought me out and sent me email apologizing for using
"The Reaper" without my permission - BEFORE I could find out who the person
was.

THAT goes far in my book, quite frankly.

Hmmmm... in which way?

1. For (trying to) pull of a Cortana letter and getting some rather

fascinating speculation going, or -

2. For using someone else's work without permission?

I hope it's item 1... 8*P

I've been to a couple of the sites, but haven't seen the articles
to which you refer...

Perhaps, since the writer has already contacted me - and from what I
can tell, learned a rather solid lesson - maybe that is all that need
be said?

Experentially, having MORE guilt dumped on myself after I've, shall we
say, realized the error of my ways, has definitely NOT helped. Others
whom I know have shared similar, if not the same, perspectives.
