I call fake too...here's why.

In Response To: We Received A Cortana Letter (TankRamp.) Aside from the other red-flags that suggest it's fake. There is no content in this "letter". Bungie included story information in ALL of the previous letters. It seems a little bland and not in bungie's style. The poem is dark but without substance. - : This is TankRamp, News Director, Battleground:Halo. We recieved a Cortana : Letter today. From what I can tell, it's authentic. I'm freaked. This is : the topic I've posted about it in our News Section: We recieved what we : beleive is a Cortana letter today. Entitled "The reaper cometh for : thee". It reads: I walk a barren earth : severed from time and space : I walk a lifeless earth : dead memories I embrace : I walk a silenced earth : no heartbeats but my own : I walk a mourning earth : reaping sorrows that I've sown : I walk a yearning earth : longing for days long dead : I walk a speechless earth : and hear my doom unsaid : I'll walk the shattered earth : for millennia, and alone : For I've walked the ravaged earth : The futile death I've known... : The poem is from a member named -Cortana. Cross-examined, she/he/it has an : original IP, not one of any member current or past. For all we can tell, : this is authentic. I'll look into it. The signature read 'I have won.', : which is a pattern in the Cortana Letters. When we researched the IP and : talked about it -Cortana posted, 'The messenger is not important.'. Staff : Writer Diabolic pointed out that that's a translation from the movie : Stigmata. I'm really feeling uncomfortable right now. I'm looking into : this further. : If you can help figure out what's going on here it would be helpful. If you : want to see the topic for yourself, it's in the Active Topics of our : forums. Is this a hoax or the real deal? I'm going to look through the : Cortana Letters index here, to see if it matches the patterns exactly.
