Codec question...

Glad this came up. When I save animations from 3D studio max I have a few choices as to what format to write to. There are quite a number of codecs to chosse from. I have tried a bunch of them and Sorenson 3 gives the best results in regards to quality and compression. I'm wondering if there are any others on par with Sorenson or if it's the best all around choice?

I don't really feel like going through all of them and doing the comparison right now. So if there is any other codec I should definately try, suggestions would be appreciated.
