You rush through a couple of : Elites like they're nothing in one section, but then the Knights show up : and suddenly you're hiding behind a wall crying because they can teleport : and have both swords and guns. But they're not hard, they're just annoying. They suffer from a similar lack of ability to dodge, and they seem to teleport almost arbitrarily. I was never able to peg it down to a consistent strategy. Sometimes they bullrush you with a teleportation and sword, other times they hang back. Sometimes they teleport around a bit when you hit them from range, other times they sit there and take it. I take your point though; setting up the Elites as being ostensibly weaker does imbue the Knights with a sense of fear, but for me it was usually dreading that I'd inevitably spend the next 5 minutes scavenging ammo rather than I might die.
