(General Vagueness) : I don't think 343i will get to use any good ideas you have because of legal : issues, which especially sucks if they were already planning them or : similar features/ideas/things, and regardless of how it goes there will be : at least one thing in this won't be in the game that will be disappointing : or at least really underwhelming (I don't know what it is, but there will : be something). I think the chances of 343i doing the exact same things for their menus and campaign to be astronomical. Even if there are some similarities, they have no legal need to change them because of some random fan. Think about all the millions of Halo fans, and all their DeviantArt sketches, story discussions in forums, etc. I'm sure there already HAS been similarities between the things people have discussed / imagined and the final products over the last 10 years. This is just daydreaming, for fun. Like I said, I've been doing this for every game since Halo 2. I'm just making it public for the first time. Dreaming about the next Halo game has been a HUGE part of my love for the series, and a massive inspiration to my doodles, all these long years. My sketchbooks and all my class notes from high school and college are covered in them. For example, in Halo 3, I had Master Chief navigating the crater caused by Regret's slipspace rupture, at night, all the while avoiding patrolling scarabs with search lights. I even had the player rescuing civilians from a city called New Alexandria, hah! (It was actually going to be the futuristic take on Alexandria, Egypt, though)
