So about those terminal symbols....

I'm kind of surprised I haven't seen a post on here about this, but I am not sure what to think of this. After every single terminal ends, it displays a unique set of 5 characters. I'm fairly certain that these are characters and not words because some characters are repeated across all of the terminals. My first guess is that this is some kind of Forerunner Alphabet. This being Covenant writing wouldn't make much sense.

Other than that though, I am kind of at a loss. Does anyone know if there is a Forerunner Alphabet somewhere out there that I haven't seen?
