In Response To: Why We Should Never Go Back to 1-50.. or (FyreWulff) My Saturday has been good thank you. Great post. I started playing Halo games in the last couple years of Halo 3 and continued with Halo Reach. I never quite understood Bungie's posts on the subject but I read this thoroughly and understood not just the systems of the games I have played but the system of Halo 2, a game which I never got round to playing and can't anymore due to the online support shutting down. I never appreciated how much the system had changed for the better. I would never want Reach to go back to Halo 3 systems because I love credits and earning armour. I think it, as you said, shows commitment and is actually physically shown, not through rank bars but through armour. It is also good that modders and cheaters effectively cannot do anything on Halo Reach. Makes the game more fun and fair. Also the article was very interesting. Thank you for it. | |
