It is all opinion isn't it. It seems as if you love the Halo franchise so much you are worried future installments will destroy it. Your worry manifests itself in a mistrust for 343i and Microsoft. I can understand that point of view even if I don't choose to follow your lead. I am and have been for five years, a one game guy. Halo. I've enjoyed each Halo more than the last. I wouldn't trade any newer release for any older release. I expect the same to be true for REACH. It should give me three years of service and I hope there will be another Halo game to move into at the end of that period. I don't care who makes it and I'm comforted with the knowledge the same publisher and several ex-Bungie employees are involved with it. Perhaps there will be even more of them involved before the rubber hits the road. Possibly 343i's first Halo game will bomb. I sincerely doubt it. In the mean time, I wish Bungie good luck on the new IP. Wouldn't it be something if they made a game so interesting that it pulled me away from Halo. I don't think that will happen but I'll be watching them closely. I'm not throwing them under the bus yet.
