I just don't get why everyone is in such a fuss over this. It's five days. Is five days really worth this much trouble? Is five days really going to make your experience any better? You get an edge up on everyone else. Whoopie. Call me pessimistic, but this is why I don't bother with contests unless they're obscure. If it's high profile, your chances are ziltch and you're just asking to be irritated and pissed off that you didn't win, when you KNEW THAT going in. Internet contests are especially bad about this, just because of a bazillion people all refreshing a page at the same time, overloading servers. By the time you actually see what the code is, someone already took it. What's the point in even bothering? =/ One of my friends apparently got a code and posted this excited status message on Facebook. My reply? "Meh." It's five days. Just wait.
