In Response To: Elite Marriage (The Duel vs The Cole Protocol) (cavide) : The Duel Episode seemed to portray the Elites as have a human style : monogamous marriage. But in the Cole Protocol it seemed the Elites kept : the women in something akin to breeding farms and didn't have marriage as : we reckon it. Can this discrepancy be explained? They have marriages, that was established in the H3 Bestiarum. Whether there is different traditions or practices in clans, we don't know. Thel was a Kaidon and sword master, so he could have his pick of any female he wanted, including those already married or concubines of his choice (That's supposed to be about 'spreading the swordsmen genes btw, not strictly a pleasurable privilege). Fel is also a swordsmen but as Frankie already cleared up, he is defying the custom/rules in maintaining his marriage and staying monogamous.
