I like to point out that I noticed holes and that I didn't like them. It doesn't fix the problem but at least Bungie knows that they didn't get away with it. It keeps them honest. Too much apologetics may persuade them that nobody cares and that they can do anything. I give Bungie a B+ Good but could do better. :-) : My point being, justifying everything will eventually take away the integrity : and meaning of the story. It'll become a convoluted mess where anything : can be thrown in and it'll be acceptable. What makes the Halo universe, or : any fiction interesting, is that there are clear and established : boundaries, and that those limits are followed. If they're not, the : fiction loses its purpose.
