actually, an ai can go indefinately, without tweeking. depends on certain parameters, and stability. most ai problems are overwork, variabilities in the input, and logic calls from the algorithm.
certainly a maxed out buffer, with too many or calls, will defy logic itself. people don't think of how many times a turnstile operates and does fine, compared to a complex turnstile with constantly updated codecs and ram so hot it makes toast.
